Next week Potter High School will host commencement week activities for its largest class yet, 18 graduates including Alice Carlson and Gordon Johnson. Events run May 12 to May 19, with Junior-Senior Banquet, Senior Breakfast, Baccalaureate, Senior Party, Class Night, a school picnic at Johnson Grove, and the commencement at Sejfang Hall.

Pine Bluffs Janitor Injured in Burglary Clash
John Erickson, janitor at Pine Bluffs school, was knocked unconscious as he confronted two burglars entering the building. He regained consciousness after about forty five minutes and alerted the deputy sheriff. about $140 was stolen from him while the school safe remained unharmed. Police are pursuing leads for developments soon.

Air Tank Explodes at Witt Mill injures none
A large air pressure tank in the engine room of Witt Milling and Grain exploded Monday afternoon. The 200 to 300 pound tank blew out a window a door and tore a roof hole. the concussion was felt for blocks but no injuries were reported. John Witt narrowly escaped.

Kimball rancher sells record cattle shipment to Wyoming
John I. Filer of Kimball sold 900 head of high bred white face cattle to M G Swowsey of Douglas Wyoming.
