Concrete Bridges Over Platte Planned at Bridgeport and Bayard
Concrete bridges will span the North Platte river at Bridgeport and Bayard with completion expected within sixty days. Each bridge extends 800 feet with earth approaches 1500 feet. one bridge is a girder design of twenty three 23-foot spans with a 12-foot roadway in the middle. The other bridge uses fifteen 50-foot concrete arches, also with a 12-foot roadway and a middle turn-out.
