Potter announces a four day chautauqua from Sunday June 29 to Wednesday July 2 featuring four plays and lectures by Raymond Tolbert. The schedule includes The Truth About Love and Smilin Through on June 30, Allpress All-Star Company with Tolbert lectures on July 1, and Friendly Troubles and The Patsy on July 2. Season tickets will be on sale soon.

Full-O-Pep calf club notes reflects ninth grader Max Malone
Illness in the Robertson home kept the Full-O-Pep calf club from meeting. Four members and five visitors attended at Max and Helen Malones. Billy Malone joined as an associate member. Max Malone, age eleven, passed eighth grade exams with over 90 percent, having completed both seventh and eighth grades this year. Meeting adjourned to May 2 at the Robertson home.

Sidney Lad Found Dead Saturday in Sidney Yard
George Frederick Heine ten year old son of Mr and Mrs Vincent B Heine was found dead early Saturday evening in a neighbor's yard. Heart failure was listed as the cause. He had been playing near his home and appeared in good health earlier. He was seen lying in the yard before the discovery but thought to be resting. Death described as peaceful and without pain by doctors.

Two Sidney Men Die in Harris Lake Boat Capsize
Vic Thus and E. D. Cooley from Sidney were drowned when their fishing boat overturned on Harris Lake twenty miles north of Oshkosh. Orville Brooks, 20, drowned with Cooley. Brooks body recovered later. A large search party from Sidney and Oshkosh scoured the lake amid rough winds. Brooks funeral held at Sidney, Cooley body still missing by Wednesday noon.
