School Notes Reflect Busy Week Across Grades
Elementary and secondary classes report absences due to illness and celebrate birthdays. Myron Challburg had a seven birthday with family, peers, and a class program. Students in Beginning and A classes finish Beacon chart work and advance phonics and spelling. Second grade notes show high spelling percentages, few absences, and parent visits. Third to eighth grades mention sickness, new enrollments, Holland study trip, Macbeth, and a successful charity encyclopedia sale. Junior and senior activities include a play’s aftermath, a Lincoln medal, a kitchen project, and multiple social outings and visits with local families.
