Training camps across the country have built extensive athletic facilities. Baseball leads in popularity with over 70 000 balls and bats supplied. Camp Lewis in Washington uses 16 baseball fields. Track, swimming, tennis with 40 courts, golf from nearby clubs, polo, and numerous leagues at company, battalion, regimental, and inter regional levels. Large crowds attend track meets and divisional contests.
