In a recent interview Governor Morehead cites thirty years as a farmer stock raiser merchant and banker plus seven years in public life. He argues for strict economy noting state salaries are low and that legislature handles appropriations. He says he understands agribusiness and taxation and can run the state efficiently.

A five person traveling party from Edgar Nebraska in a 90 horsepower Hudson passed through Potter on their way to San Francisco for the exposition. The visitor, surprised by Potter’s growth since seven years ago, compared it to a booming country and sought views to mail to friends.
