Fire destroys Doyle residence near town
Tuesday word reached Potter that John Doyle's home about miles northeast of town caught fire from chimney sparks. R A Babcock arrived in time to rescue Doyle, who was returning from the road. The baby upstairs nearly perished, furniture saved, and the house burned to the ground. Doyle plans a new home nearby, nearing completion.
