Rabbit Hunts Put In Order To Curb Jack Rabbits
County agent urges communities to tackle the jackrabbit problem now by three proven methods: gun drives with corralled packs, oral uprooting with long winged wire corrals, or poisoned bait, noting that drives often miss as many rabbits as they kill and that poison risks harming other stock especially with snow on the ground. Local corn prices push rabbits toward an expensive luxury status as they consume available feed. Each affected community should act to reduce numbers using one of the endorsed methods.

Plant power outage disrupts work for several days
A breakdown in the steam engine at the light plant last Saturday night left Potter and Dix working in darkness for days.
