Eight Year Old Boy Fatally Shot by Father in Accident
Rover Larkin eight year old son of Mr and Mrs A Larkin Second and Platte streets died after a Colt automatic revolver the father was cleaning discharged killing him instantly. The father a railroad brakeman had used the gun moments earlier and did not realize the injury until the boy cried for his father. Funeral held at First Baptist church with interment Greenwood Cemetery. Sheriff's office notes the father had previously accidentally killed his brother with a revolver.
