Fatal Burns Report From Big Springs Woman
Mrs Bud Waives, of Big Springs, was fatally burned last week while extinguishing a stove fire. She tried a rug to smother the flames, then jumped into bed and hid under covers. Hospitalized in North Platte, she died the next day. Survived by her husband two daughters and one son.

Impressive funeral services for former pastor Rev G M Bing
Impressive funeral services were held on February 4 at Wirbach for Rev. G. M. Bing 69 former pastor of Potter Methodist church. He died February 1 after an asthma attack. Born July 18 1870 he was the second of eight children and served in Iowa before a Nebraska conference posting at Schuyler St. Paul Laurel Potter Beaver City Nora and Wolbach Cushing. He retired in 1938 due to ill health but remained active locally. Survived by wife two daughters and a son all married. Interment in Wolbach cemetery. The Wolbach paper notes his long pulpit work and community respect.
