Accident Here Fatal to J. L. Jenkins of Sidney
A brief wild ride ended fatally for J R Jenkins of Sidney last Friday around 11 45 a m after crashing through guard rails at a crossing in Potter and into a telephone pole on the north road. He died Sunday evening in a Sidney hospital after being rushed there for treatment. Jenkins is described as a prominent local business man with ties to oil and tank work and leaves a wife and two children. Funeral arrangements are pending in Falls City.

A Tuesday evening power outage affected Potter for about 25 minutes due to a short circuit on high tension lines. The fault was located and repaired quickly and lights were restored. Street lights and Dix service remained on other circuits and were not interrupted.

Brule Drug Store Robbery Suspects Captured in Nebraska

Ned Greeley of Lindbergh Wyoming on trial at Kimball pleaded guilty to assisting in procuring a marriage license for a minor and received six months in the state reformatory. Velma Greeley impersonated 15 year old Mildred Castor and was paroled for one year to Sheriff Forsling to live in Kimball or Lincoln counties.
