The article notes good Sunday attendance despite illness and urges prayer for full recovery before meetings begin March 4. The pastor cannot visit all the sick but has them in mind and wishes them health. The Comers? meetings run nightly at the little schoolhouse with varied interests each evening.
R S Scott resigns as county agricultural agent with April 15 1923 as the effective date. He notes the move aims to ease opposition to the office and aid the service. The county agricultural board will meet February 24 to consider a successor.
Arvid, Cornelia, Helen and others were absent on various days this week. Examinations scheduled for Thursday and Friday. Students work on booklets and a dramatization for Washington's Birthday. Seventh grade wrote letters to Lawrence Shriver who has been ill. Perfect attendance sought by Mrs Woten. more ink to put on my face and poems in student booklets. Lily notes cough drops and Bruce requests pencils by February 22.

Potter girls basketball team defeated Sidney 28 to 16 on Sidney floor in a third straight win. Potter forward Lillian Brady led with 16 points and Vera Carlson 10. Sidney’s Mae Breternitz and Miriam O Berg each scored for their team. Officials were Supt Liebendorfer and scorer Miss Norma Nelson.

Mr and Mrs Jesse Lambert and family visited Fred Prince's home on Sunday. LENM Jacobson sat on the Sidney jury last Thurs and Fri. Mr and Mrs Peter Nelsons and children visited Ed Morrow home Sunday. Mrs George Reetz confined to bed by illness but slowly improving. Farmers Union met at the school Friday with a large crowd and program. Mrs Chris Crowell called on Mrs George Reetz Tuesday. Arlo Fisher confined at home with grippe.
Citizens State Bank hires clerk for upcoming sale, with Sharp and Millett serving as auctioneers.
A successful Saturday night minstrel program by local youth, led by Miss Ella O Grady of district 821, drew praise for performances and a profitable box lunch auction. Several locals visited Sidney for meetings and visitors, with multiple families cited in casual notes.
The library reports 845 volumes with steady growth toward an ambitious goal of 1000. Donations of ebooks are listed, and various titles by authors including Renate baneieraee op, Mrs. H. W. Struble, Mrs. Dick Carlson, Byron Pavlat are noted. The librarian signs off, noting progress and patience.
Chas. Stanton has opened a new store in the former Central Meat Market building, which he owns. The structure has undergone extensive repairs and remodeling and is now in fine shape. Stanton offers a nice line of groceries and sundry items and is expected to attract a good share of trade.
The Review force prepared five sale bills this week running heavy to meet schedules. Listings include Gemeinhart & Perkas sale on Feb 26 and J L French general farm sale on Feb 27 south of Dix. Also Peter Nelson live stock sale on Feb 23 with some machinery, Carl Carlson farm sale on Mar 2, and George eet thoroughbred broad sow sale with A Babcock cow sales on Mar 7.
The American Legion Potter Post 291 thanks Potter residents for their support of last Thursday’s show. Special gratitude to the orchestra, ticket sellers, Thomas Ladely for singing, and all helpers. About 36 dollars was cleared.
The Potter Nebraska village board met February 5 1923 in the clerk’s office with Chairman R A Babcock and trustees C A Larsen and Clarence Johnson present. Bills totaling several dollars were approved including Farmers Union Trading Co Sandoz Hardware Western Electric Potter Review and attorney fees and salaries for January.

Caywood of Willard Service Station cautions that such boosts harm performance later. Battery makers already use optimal acid strength. trust their judgment over DIY chemical tweaks.
A speaker plans to attend a normal training school after high school to obtain instruction for becoming an educator. They prefer teaching in the country, citing cleaner air and a better environment, and would stay with a neighboring resident to minimize travel.
The Nebraska district court, nearing term end, cleared about 196 cases as Loeffel and other defendants faced verdicts. Martinez received 1 to 3 years in reform school for shooting with intent to kill. Reibe pleaded guilty to third offense theft with a $500 fine and 60 days in jail. Simmons was found guilty of forgery and ordered to repay defrauded funds plus 4 to 7 years. Jurors also heard replevin suits. praise came for Judge Tewell and County Attorney Kepler for efficient handling.
