Fire Department Makes Record Run to Johnson Fire
The fire department achieved a record response to a blaze eight miles northeast of town on Tuesday. They arrived within sixteen minutes of the alarm and, led by the chief, used chemical extinguishers. The school building was cleared in about forty seconds after the whistle. The chief and crew were transported by Roy MacAdam in a Seutz car.
