Eight of ten Potter school teachers are rehired for the coming year. Supt. F A Snocker and six other staff remain in place. two positions will be filled later. Jeannetta Sloan moves from the second grade. Coach J L Fowler undecided.

Old German Bible Print From 1550s Found In County
A German Bible printed in the 1550s with wood type and hand drawn Christ life pictures is described as eight inches thick and leather bound. It is owned by the Schwartz boys, cared for by Lawrence Schwartz, and bequeathed by their father, passing through generations. The fragile but well preserved volume measures folio and survived about 365 to 370 years.

Woman's Club Votes $50 Gift to Library
The Woman's Club met at Mrs. Alice Hagemeister’s home with Mrs. Olive Sloan leading and voted to give fifty dollars to the library. A few books were donated as well. The next meeting will be hosted by Mrs. Fred Johnson with Mrs. Hagemeister the leader, and full attendance is desired. Old Glory was placed prominently on Potter streets last Tuesday for Lincoln's birthday.

Rumely Tractor School at Potter Next Tuesday
The 11th annual Rumely power farming school will be at the Seyfang theatre in Potter next Tuesday February 19. The free event starts at 9:00 a.m. and runs all day with six sessions back to back. The first 50 registrants receive a gallon of medium dewaxed motor oil.
