Dr. W. T. Kahee pastor leads Jaenten devotions and services every Sunday at 3 45 p m The Sunday school meets at 2 00 p m A cordial invitation is extended to all to attend and partake in worship and fellowship
Sunday school at 10:00 a m and morning service at 11:00 a m with no evening services. Fellowship dinner planned for Wednesday February 17 a basket dinner. A radio will be installed to hear Dr E Stanley Jones farewell address to the United States.
A community rabbit hunt begins Sunday at 6:00 p m and ends Tuesday at 3:00 p m with teams captained by Arthur Schuessler and Ed Erickson. Registrations close Saturday 8:00 p m at the Farmers Union oil station in Potter. Rabbits must be brought to George Jung’s farm by 3:00 p m Tuesday for counting and sale proceeds fund the later feed.

A double header basketball program at Potter and Goodvieto this Thursday evening February 1 follows a conference schedule. Net proceeds go to Red Cross flood relief. The Coyotes have two more home games on February 19 against Dalton and February 28 against Broadwater.
Rev C R Tanner travels to Denver this week for long standing illness treatment. He will be away Sunday with another pastor filling the morning pulpit at the Methodist church next Sunday.
Superintendent L A Wiemers announces Dean F E Henzlik head of University of Nebraska Teachers College will deliver a May 13 commencement address. Senior play Hullabaloo on Feb 5 drew a large crowd, about $40 raised, with strong performances by Letha Moench, Byron Johnson, Jeanne Nelson, Richard Shea, Donald Biggs, Keith Schwartz, Helen Carlson and others, praised by Superintendent Wiemers. A follow up report on local schools' role in the enterprise is planned.
Irive7l school students organize aid to flood victims in the Mississippi valley. Contributions are ongoing as they work to relieve discomfort and support those affected.
The local high school will present two patriotic convocation programs in honor of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Lincoln convocation Friday February 2 at 9 35 a M and Washington convocation February 22 at 1 35 P M. Public is invited with no admission charges.
Revenge was sweet for the Potter Coyotes as they defeated Sunol 26 to 22 in a Lodge Pole Valley Athletic Association game. Potter led throughout, 23 to 13 at one point, with Schwartz and Biggs top scorers and Johnson anchoring tight defense. Sunol’s Zalesky paced visitors with 7 points as Potter improved to fourth in the standings with seven games left.
Colonel Joe P Schwartz announces a community sale at Po.1 on Thursday afternoon February 18 starting at 1 30.
