Commercial Club Hosts Income Tax Expert February 16
About forty members attended the annual Commercial Club meeting in Seyfang hall. Officers were elected, and a standing vote supported passage of a soldiers bonus. The club agreed to pay the Lyceum deficit from club funds, aided by a $4 signer tax to support the credit. An Internal Revenue officer will visit towns on specific February to March dates to assist with 1921 income tax filings.

Stolen Home Lumber Papers Recovered In Field
Several months after a robbery at Home Lumber Company the safe was opened and documents including notes stock certificates and securities were stolen. The papers were found by Eugene Kaune while rabbit hunting in the Kaune field. They were water damaged but readable. The robbers apparently discarded them after realizing the papers held little value to outsiders.
