Declamatory Festival Set For Ludsepole Valley
The Ludsepole Valley Activities Association will stage its annual declamatory festival at Potter next Thursday February 15 with afternoon and evening programs. Admission is 10c for afternoon junior high and senior high events and 15c for the evening show. Performances include humorous dramatic and oratorical readings by association schools at the Methodist church the high school auditorium and likely the school auditorium for the finale.

Fifteen From Here at County Convention
Fifteen Auxiliary and Legion members from Potter attended the annual county convention at Dalton Tuesday evening. A highlight was the showing of moving pictures by Dr Roche on European and American points and the discussion of possibly buying airmailing equipment for use in the county. Nelsons Celebrate 65 Years In Fremont Nebraska
Mr and Mrs J K Nelson quietly celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on February 5 entertaining several children and families. They wed in Aurora Illinois on February 5 1875 and moved to Fremont Nebraska in 1877 in a covered wagon later homesteading in 1889. They are among the communitys oldest pioneers and well respected.
