A brief wedding notice from the Denver Post states W L Larson of Sidney Nebraska wed Miss Mable Buckles of Red Cloud Nebraska. Details such as date and plans are not provided. well wishes are extended to the couple.
The town board at an extra session elected W. L. Stevens as police judge. He qualified and posted bond the same night. The next day he presided as the first judge in Potter. Joe Richards, a clothing retailer, with Frank Campbell, was arrested for violating ordinance 28 by posting bills on telephone poles. Richards pleaded guilty and paid a $10 fine plus $3.60 in costs.
The Cheyenne County Teachers Association will meet in Lodge Pole at the high school building on Saturday February 17 1917. Supt W J Braham of Sidney schools will address the teachers and a program has been prepared. Train No 18 departs Sidney 825 am stops Lodge Pole return on No 17 arriving Sidney 815 pm. All county teachers and friends are invited. Anna McFappen County Supt.

In loving memorials, JOEN AL STRAND BIERG Itis honor the lives of John A Strandberg born January Sth ISTO near Gothenburg Sweden who later married Clara Turnstand in 1893 in Kansas and built a family amid faith and service in Potter. The second obituary recalls a sister born August 2 1861 in Gotland Sweden who settled in Cheyenne County in 1888 with N Jacobson and raised nine children, urged by faith to await the home prepared by God.
