February literary program at high school auditorium
The February literary program will be held next Monday evening at 8 oclock in the high school auditorium. Admission is five and ten cents. The program includes orchestra, vocal solos by Wanda Challburg and Thomas E. Ladely, a Little Red Riding Hood dramatization by first grade, piano solo by Mrs Ray Johnson, a Geraldine Farrar solo, a patriotic drill by fourth grade, a trombone and cornet duet by Dean Hagemeister and Charlie Cords, a pantomime by high school students, and another orchestra performance.

Potter Boys Fall to Kimball Then Beat Dix
Last Friday Potter boys lost to Kimball 26 to 5 in a fast, clean contest with Kimball showing size and improved tactics. On Tuesday Potter defeated Dix 26 to 5, and the girls also won 23 to 3 led by Lillian Brady and Doris Hagemeister. Bushnell visits tonight February 2 for an 8:00 game with admission 15 and 25 cents.

First Wheat Pool From Cheyenne County Reported
The Nebraska Wheat Growers Co operative Association received its first consignment of wheat from Cheyenne county this week. About 3500 bushels were shipped by J W Boren of McCool Nebr who owns land nearby. He sold under the 100 percent pool plan at 70 cents a bushel with a March and June payment.Receipts issued at McCool elevators are cashable at local banks. The McCool elevator takes a three cent per bushel commission and returns fair margins. Cheyenne county has not yet formed an association though it may be organized soon with support from the Nebraska Farmers Union and Better Cheyenne County Association. A M Leafdale of Potter was recently elected a director and backs the plan to aid wheat growers and balance consumer distribution.

American Legion to stage benefit picture show
Potter Post No 291 of the American Legion plans a Feb 15 1923 moving picture event at the local theatre. A Sailor Made Man starring Harold Lloyd will headline a 5 reel feature with a two reel drama to raise funds for paying off a note.
