Win, Godling and Geo. Coulter shipped four cars of cattle to Omaha last week and topped the market with their stock on that day. D. C. Hibbard has moved his family here from Phillips, Nebr., this week and is now at home on the Courtright ranch east of Potter.
I am back on the job after a two week layoff due to illness and express thanks to Fr. Stafford of the Sidney Telegraph I R Leigh and Wm Rice and advertisers who aided Mrs C E Grisham in issuing the Review during sickness. A good snow fell here Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
Jesse Retherford, a longtime Potter resident and Nebraska pioneer born in Philadelphia Ohio in 1856, died December 17 1918 at his Potter home after despondency. He married Lillie Cleveland in 1892 and left two daughters Mrs Mable Gunderson and Mrs Ethel Riehart, a son Benny, a sister and two brothers, with funeral at the Potter Methodist Church and burial in Potter cemetery.
Chas. High departed last Saturday to visit his daughter Mrs. Bertha MecCluhan of North Bend and plans a stop at his old home in Galesburg, Illinois, before returning to Potter. He expects to be away until about February.
The Potter Local of the Farmers Union calls all members to attend the annual meeting on Saturday December 28 with Julius J. Johnson serving as secretary.

The Potter area Harvest Festival at Luermann Brothers Garage supported by local business men proved a grand success. Speakers from A. M. Leafdale to Sidney and Omaha discussed grain grading and farming methods while exhibits of corn wheat vegetables and beans attracted prizes. Races auctions and a Red Cross donation marked a lively day with plans for a bigger event next year.
Charles I. Smith thanks friends and neighbors for assistance to his family during his hospitalization in Denver, expressing gratitude for support received.
Co. W. Ditto came back last week from a trip to Sutherland.
