The Mosier school Friday night box supper was a big success with many boxes for sale and ample dining. More than twenty dollars was raised. Notes include H. Smith bedridden with a cold and Jimmie Foster visiting McGrew before heading to Iowa. Cora Henson suffered a cut from shears and is recovering with a doctor’s care. Belchers of Wyoming visit Christmas with Mrs. Pickerell. Walter Muhr traveled to Alliance and back. Dave Eckert had a bad spell Friday night and remains weak but improving.
Winter scenes in Pleasant View include sleigh riding and rabbit hunting. About forty neighbors joined a surprise dance and oyster supper in Mrs. Goding's honor. Snow covers six to eight inches, stock feeding is steady, and travel is limited. Local tidbits mention trips to Denver and Elwood, a note of Terdon’s prominence, and Jim Hoadley and Will Goding as keen hunters who brag about a moonlight drive.
