Death Claims Beloved Sanders Sister Annie Sanders
Annie Elizabeth Sanders 21 of Potter Nebraska died Thanksgiving morning in Huron South Dakota after a brief illness. A member of the Sanders sisters, radio singers, she performed on five stations with her sister Ruby and recently sang for Scottsbluff. Burial near Potter followed a large funeral in the Sanders home attended by family and friends.

Reverend and Mrs. L. V. Slocumb announce the marriage of their son Le Roy to Miss Mildred Bleach on Sunday afternoon November 1 at three in LeRoy's home. Attendants were R. E. Slocumb and wife of Potter. Le Roy is a 1933 Gering High School graduate, studied pre med at Nebraska Wesleyan, and attends Hemphill Diesel Engine School in Los Angeles. Miss Bleach is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bleach of Burwell, a 1932 Burwell High School graduate and Omaha Boyles Business College graduate, currently bookkeeper at Linn Hardware. Mrs. Slocumb will visit Burwell before joining Le Roy in Los Angeles.

Burglary at Potter Garage Missing About 11 Dollars
The Potter Garage was entered late Friday night or early Saturday morning and about 11 or 12 dollars stolen. A rear window on the north east broke, and the thief left through the front door which was found unlocked. Peace authorities are investigating with no arrests yet. The prior night windows in the garage were broken likely by rocks, and Swanson store plate glass window was also badly cracked.

Respected Gurley Citizen Passes Away
Benjamin L. Walker, 69, died at a Sidney hospital Tuesday. He moved to Cheyenne county in 1911 and farmed in Gurley since. Survived by his wife, six daughters, and one son. Funeral Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Sidney Methodist Church with Rev L A Moore and Rev Scheaff officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Rice Funeral home in charge.
