The new Catholic church at Kimball will be dedicated on August 20 by Bishop James A. Duffy of Kearney. He arrives August 19 for the solemn rite with Mass scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning.
The Score Potter met Herdon in a Sunday game on the Herdon diamond. Both teams produced many runs with Woten pitching well. Bundy Hard and Nelson each scored three, Johnson hit a home run, and W. Fisher's threshing rig finished George Reitz wheat at the start of the week yielding a bit over 23 bushels per acre. H L Challburg in the northwest part is constructing a 14 by 24 foot three room addition to his residence and telephone central. The L shaped expansion will sit on the west side and extend southward with Will MacAdam and Challburg handling the carpentry.
