Court Grants Man Parole in Robbery Case

John Watson, 39, of Portneuf park, pleaded guilty to taking part in the armed robbery of the Last Frontier club on April 25. He was paroled by District Judge L. E. Glennon with conditions including liquor abstinence, monthly court reports, and support for his wife and five children. The court reserved jurisdiction.

Three Divorces Granted by District Judge Isaac McDougall

Three decrees of divorce were granted by District Judge Isaac McDougall. Dorothy June Smith won custody of one child after a cross complaint charging cruelty. She and James QC. Smith were married in Dillon, Montana, on June 9, 1946. Minnie McWilliams, from J F McWilliams, received a decree after a Dillon marriage on November 7, 1947, with cruelty cited and no children or property involved. Blanch Talbot Richardson was granted a decree from Sherman Richardson with custody of their one child and a property settlement. they were married in Dillon in April 1941.

Idaho Probate Judge Edward Quinlan Dies at 64

Power county Probate Judge Edward Quinlan died at 5 30 AM in American Falls hospital after hospitalization since May 1. Physicians cite Q fever as the probable cause while his wife Rhoda remains seriously ill in the same hospital. Survived by wife and four children, Quinlan led county Red Cross fund drives and the infantile paralysis foundation.
