Inkom Young Man Injured In Weekend Car Crash
William E. Billie Phillips 20 of Inkom was taken to St. Anthony hospital for an x ray after a car accident Saturday evening. Ted King and Bob Pidcock, both 19, escaped injury as the 1939 sedan rolled over after skidding on a soft shoulder and plunged into a borrow pit near Inkom High School on Rapid Creek road. Phillips was ejected from the vehicle, which was badly damaged. Deputy Sheriff Earl Cutler reported the men rode in the front seat and were returning from an outing.
