Hornell aviator Fryer dies from crash injuries
Clayton E. Fryer of Hornell died in a Hornell hospital from injuries suffered when his plane crashed into a mountain near Bradford Pennsylvania on November 3. He had been rescued after searchers followed trail markers tied to bushes by Helen Crandall of Alfred New York who led rescuers through dense brush to his location. Fryer was severely cut bruised and had several broken ribs.

A Chicago area crash at an Oak Park grade crossing left six dead when a touring car with seven passengers stopped for a passing train and then drove into the path of another train. Tiny Plane Aims To Break Endurance Record In New Year
Marshall Missouri will host a two man tiny monoplane real endurance flight in early January to surpass the 60 hour 7 minute record set by Belgium’s Crooy and Groenen. Blaine M. Tuxhorn of Kansas City will co pilot with a second pilot named soon. The craft will refuel via ground cannons and face extreme cold in an open cockpit as it seeks 10 to 13 days aloft.
