Smith on wrong side of icy road caused the crash Deputy Earl Cutler said. A second three car crash in the city at 6 30 p m on East Halliday St left a woman charged with drunken driving. No serious injuries reported.

Condie Held In Rum Sale Case At El Rio Club
Condie operator of the El Rio club north of Pocatello was arrested for illegal sale of liquor and bound over to district court on a $500 bond after testimony by deputies and witnesses. The whisky seized, claimed by another customer, was argued as not Condie’s property. The El Rio club lies beyond town limits and outside any incorporated village where liquor sale is unlawful. Deputy Earl Cutler, with James Johnson, led the arrest. Prosecutor Henry Condie asked for continued hearing at the district court.
