No Change Soon In Policy Rate

Pocatello may see no fire insurance rate changes after the 1950 census as it shifts from the Boise bureau to the National Board of Fire Underwriters. Mayor W. W. Halsey said the city now ranks with national boards for cities over 25 000, with population estimates around 28 000 and Alameda included well over 30 000. The mayor warned that staffing and equipment may be deemed insufficient if Alameda joins Pocatello, affecting ratings and coverage.
