Second Crash Victim Dies in Rexburg Area
Seven year old Carl Withers of Rexburg died at General hospital Monday morning from injuries suffered in a Sunday crash about a mile south of Fort Hall. His father Vernon C. Withers was killed instantly. Six other family members were reported in fair condition. State police attributed the crash to grassy highways from frozen rain. Reed Bills of Idaho Falls was treated for a knee injury and released. The injured Withers family members include Mrs. Vern Withers, Mr. and Mrs. David Withers and their son Boyd, and daughter Marilyn.
