Nevada-Utah's First Shipment

The Nevada-Utah Corporation shipped the first carload of ore from the Day mine at Jackrabbit by the Caliente and Pioche railroad. More ore is ready, but smelter closures due to money stringency slow departures. The Day mine ore is highly fluxing and in demand, with plans to expand shipments as handling capacity improves.
