Fortuna ore shipments begin via Santa Fe with high grade ore
The Fortuna mine starts ore shipments to Santa Fe this week with a twenty five ton parcel valued at about five hundred dollars per ton. Assays show an average of nearly one hundred forty dollars per ton across the ledge, with plans for cyanide works to recover gold and silver and keep shipments rolling as the shaft reaches 250 feet.
