Tontogany has four skilled ball players Heyman Stevenson Watson and Weight who want to form a county team. They played with Defianky last year, a strong independent outfit in the region.
To the tax payers of this county, a notice extols insuring farm property with the Home of New York, claiming it is America’s largest insurance company and the only stock company specializing in Ohio farm insurance, paying a large direct tax on premiums received from citizens.

Engineer Clifford Harper of engine No. 320 was on an extra northbound freight on the C H D R R when he leaned from the cab and was struck in the head by a mall crane over the rails near Roachton. He died at noon in Rheinfrank hospital Perrysburg.
A. Brincker of Dunbridge was killed in a dynamite blast while blasting stumps. The 36 year old farmer, leaving a wife and two children, resided near the Dunbridge depot. Undertaker Witater of Perrysburg removed the scattered remains and the funeral was held at Dunbridge church with interment in Dowling cemetery. SHUDDERS AT HIS PAST. Mail carrier Burnett Mann recalls kidney trouble until Electric Bitters cured him in six bottles, promising stomach liver kidneys and bowels regulation. Champney offers the remedy at 60 cents.

Members of the Maumee Valley Pioneer association plan to preserve and mark Fort Meigs Fort Miami Fallen Timbers and the Maumee court house. Incorporated earlier this year the group appointed locality committees on March 8 and met again April 5 to push the plan with a forthcoming special meeting anticipated.
