Perrysburg Drops Double Feature In Slow Sunday Play
Perrysburg split a Sunday double header with Tri States and Armours of Toledo after a tense finish in the opener. In the 9th inning, Homer hit a two-base drive driving in the winning run as Wolfe scored the fifth. The second game ended 2 to 1 in Toledo’s favor as Perrysburg’s pitching and baserunning faltered. The team praised coachable speed on bases while noting an inability to compile a box score due to scorers’ records.
