Fatal electric accident at Miami plant claims superintendent life
At about 10 o clock Monday forenoon at the Miami power plant superintendent William McConahay was killed by an arc from a high tension wire while his assistant Henry Kerber escaped with facial burns. Kerber crawled to safety and doctors attempted resuscitation but McConahay died within minutes. McConahay, 38, had recently taken charge of the Miami plant after leaving Valley R. and I. Co. He leaves a widow and was highly regarded for his conduct and habits.
