Cold weather did not deter veterans from Perrysburg as they gathered for decoration day services. A procession to cemeteries featured a school children band and flowers on graves, followed by an afternoon town hall program with Rev BE Webster’s address. Memorial sermons at St Rose de Lima drew veterans and citizens alike.
Paul Mathulka of Buffalo praises Dr King’s New Life Pills as the king of laxatives and a sure remedy for stomach liver and kidney troubles, available only at C P Champney’s.
The county commission filled the vacancy created by Treasurer Fowler’s death by unanimously electing Charles Patterson, longtime deputy treasurer, to serve as treasurer. Jacob Keller, born in Baden Germany in 1842, died of heart trouble at the East Side grain elevator in Toledo after a long service in Perrysburg and in the Civil War. His funeral was led by Rev. B. J. Webster of the M B church.
An advertorial note promotes Bucklen’s Arnica Salve as a prompt treatment for knife wounds burns boils sores skin eruptions and other injuries to prevent blood poisoning or gangrene. It claims quick healing and offers 25 cents at C. P. Champney’s.
About 125 graduates gathered last Friday for the Perrysburg High School Alumni Association reunion. Supt. Haylor chaired. readings celebrated the 1866 class and the class of 1910, with music by a Toledo orchestra and light refreshments. The event was praised as well planned and worth continuing, with plans to gather current addresses of living graduates for future homecomings.

Cordelia Breck wins divorce with custody awarded to plaintiff. Other filings note continued cases, appeal bonds, and numerous civil land and note lawsuits from Rising Sun to Perrysburg and Bowling Green.
Scientists say eczema lesions lie in the inner skin requiring a penetrating remedy. The DD DD Prescription with Wintergreen is promoted as an effective salve that clears pores. A trial bottle is offered at 25 cents, claimed to provide instant relief and has long been recommended by Chus Champney.
Marcus M Powler longtime Wood county treasurer died at home in Bowling Green on May 26 after brain hemorrhage. Born October 25 1858 he was elected as a Democrat in 1908 and leaves a widow and seven children. He was a member of M B church Munsonie Odd Fellows and K P orders. Funeral was held in Bradner with large turnout and escorts from courthouse and orders. Jobin J Lintner and wife hosted christening guests for their son Frederick with relatives from Toledo and Lime City.
The Ohio Department of Agriculture will be required to inspect all apiaries in Ohio under a new law. The measure extends regulatory checks to beekeeping operations statewide and aims to ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
Under a new law each county may choose to establish a county Experiment Farm. To place the question on the ballot a petition must be signed by five percent of the voters for governor in that county and filed with the county commissioners. The farm would be under the Wooster Experiment Station.

Lincoln May 26 William J Bryan in his newspaper timie calls on Governor Harmon of Ohio to openly back a Democratic candidate for the U S Senate at the Buckeye State party convention. The Commoner editor criticizes Harmon amid a crisis of Democratic leadership and urges daylight, honest politics and a bold stance against corporate influence.
The State Board of Agriculture announces Uberal prizes for the largest corn yield per acre in Ohio for 1910. Entries close August 20 with husking between November 1 and 15. First prize last year was 122 bushels per acre. eight cash prizes total $410, plus smaller awards. Secretary A P Sandles of Columbus urges farmer participation. Also notes Dr King’s New Discovery for coughs and lung troubles with trial bottles offer.
