A mild smallpox case is found at Samuel Leverton’s home on township line road one mile west of Dowling. The patient is improving under a B. G. physician care. Family six miles from Perrysburg, all vaccinated, strict quarantine in force, no further cases expected. An ad for Dr King’s New Life Pills follows.

In Eagleville last Sunday night Mrs. Moore, 86, collapsed during the closing hymn That Will Be Glory for Me in the Church of Christ choir. She gasped, fainted, and died before doctors from Bloomstale could reach her. The service ended in disorder as mournful witnesses tried to assist.
Rural mail carriers near Upper Sandusky protest heavy roads hindering delivery. They ask to use horses in mud and bicycles in summer, but the department bans such methods. If farmers fail to provide good roads, free rural mail delivery will be withdrawn.
A runaway incident at J. B. Orner Franklin Grove Til caused a severe leg ulcer that resisted four years of treatment. Bucklen's Arsha Salve reportedly cured the ulcer and also eased burns bruises skin eruptions and piles. Sold for 25 cents at P. Chumpney's Drug Store.

Lew is Fale of Perrysburg township died after a brief illness at his home near Dowling. Funeral services will be held at his residence Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Dowling cemetery. Also note the remains of Anna Dauer were brought to Haskins for interment. she was Mrs Jacob Dauer of Delta and a sister of Ex-Commissioner Brand of Hawkins.
