Mayor and councilmen Dibling Leydorff Neiderhouse Thornton Witzler met to open deposits bids from Citizens Banking Co. and Perrysburg Banking Co. for village funds. A two year contract with Perrysburg Banking Co. was authorized. Several street and public works items were approved or discussed including Front Street width, alley improvements for a wheel company, and a 20 foot use of vacant property for an elevator. Trainmen Injured In Express Jumping Track
Three trainmen were injured when a southbound Toledo Bowling Green and Southern express jumped the track at the Nickel Plate crossing at Mortimer early Tuesday. The injured include motorman James Marti of Perrysburg with cuts and bruises, messenger Dan Cougher of Toledo with bruises, and conductor Clyde Osborn of Bowling Green with cuts and bruises.
