Tragic Ohio Railway Death Claims 41 Year Old Employee
Tacob Griffin, 41, of 786 Short Minit street Toledo, died Monday after a passenger train backed into the Ohio Central yard at East Toledo. He was between two cars when the two sections separated, his legs severed and chest crushed. Griffin, a longtime employee described as faithful, leaves a wife and five children. His body was moved to an undertaker and then home. The accident occurred about 11 am.

Death of Mrs Blodgett at Perrysburg home
Mrs Blodgett of Weston died after an illness of one day at the home of her son in law Abu Cranker in Perrysburg while wintering there. She was 70, widow of her husband and mother of the family having predeceased her. Funeral will be at Mr Ceauker’s Second Street home Saturday at 7 30 pm with Rev Lone of Weston officiating, burial at Port Mote cemetery.

Two Men Arrested in Copper Wire Theft at railroad
Martin Kinney and John Whalen of Tatedo were jailed Monday night for malicous destruction and stealing copper wire from the M V V Ry. They faced Mayor Bowers Tuesday. Kinney was found guilty and bound over to court in 500 dollars. Whalen waived exam and was bound over. A third conspirator escaped. Railroad attorney Lloyd represented the company.
