Maumee Valley Pioneer Association directors met at D. K. Hollenbeck's office to plan the February 22 Toledo annual meeting. Routine business was transacted and a program committee was appointed.

Dr S I Dilly prominent Pemberville physician dies suddenly after three days illness. He went to Jerry City for his mother’s funeral, returned ill with emulsion, lungs congested, died at 8 25 Sunday morning aged 44, survived by wife and no children. In North Baltimore Mrs Frank Cook collapses during long distance call, dies of heart disease. she leaves husband oil worker and several children. Cook brothers previously died from heart failure and a tree accident respectively.
A civil suit seeks 5200 damages from Captain L Black of BG after an autumn auto collision. Mercer alleges he was driving a horse when the defendant's vehicle approached from behind frightening the animals. The frightened horse struck him with its hoof, causing permanent disabling injuries.
George Wilde of Perrysburg and Julia Curran of Toledo wed on January 25 1905 at 6 30 pm at Bishop Woodcock s Detroit residence. The Toledo Bowling Green and Southern Traction begins operating over a new line into Toledo cutting Perrysburg from the main route. Maumee Valley runs Perrysburg to Lober s for connections but a half mile between lines offers limited benefit. Time is reduced to about two and a half hours Toledo to Fridaly with hourly service from 4 a.m. to midnight and future limited cars to Findlay will shave further minutes with few stops.
Maurice McCabe was found guilty of forgery after a Monday trial. Defense by P. Prentiss, State represented by J. B. Ladd with H. G. McClelland assisting. McCabe’s four young daughters testified to his character. verdict returned Tuesday afternoon with an expected sentence of about two years.

The ceremony closed with speeches expressing best wishes for his future endeavors.
Prof E Steinbaugh arrived in Perrysburg Saturday and on Monday morning began duties as Superintendent of Perrysburg Public Schools. He was warmly welcomed by Weston pupils and parents before departure, receiving many gifts as he left. He praised his new staff and students, stating high regard for both. An enthusiastic assembly decided to hold an Independent farmer's Institute in Bowling Green on February 21 and 22. S. W. Nigh of North Baltimore was elected president with W. H. Trigham as secretary and W. H. Hanath as executive chairman. The program includes talks on improved corn, a second-day speaker from state list, and a magical program by Rev. T. J. Harbaugh. The institute starts with some treasury and aims to surpass the state Institute in usefulness, boosted by local farmer interest and participation. Bowling Green residents and nearby farmers expect broad benefit from a more comprehensive institute.
Hobart and neighboring towns report visits and home arrangements. Mary Gossitt will live with relatives at Dowling for a few weeks while Pearl Chandler plans residence in Toledo. Chas Lusher’s fire loss prompts visiting aid from John Smith and others. A Friday school debate on a historical theme drew attendees. Sherlock Holmes and a new Lassie tale are advertised for readers at the Jovuyas office.
