Charles Everst captured Bush in Toledo after learning his wife had eloped with him. Everst said he and his wife disappeared, then returned to find his two children unharmed, while Bush resisted capture and was taken to the police station. The wife admitted guilt after a night in jail and agreed to return home to care for the children.
The reading circle held a session on Saturday with a question box and discussions. A meeting is planned at Miss Lauri Chatter’s Perrysburg home on Friday evening Dec. 5 at 7:00 with assignments for summaries and questions.

On Thanksgiving afternoon the Perrysburg P 1.8 team faced St John’s College of Toledo in muddy conditions. The Burg displayed peak speed with five passes and seven yard carries in the final 45 seconds, nearly scoring again if time had allowed. One fumble occurred when Meyer pushed the ball forward and Toledo recovered.
