Death of Col W H Stevenson Leaves Notable Railroad Pioneer
Col W H Stevenson of Bridgeport Connecticut died at his home after a three week illness. He was 68 and had led the Columbus Lancaster and Southern railroad ventures and held posts with railroad associations. He served as aid de camp to Brigadier General Smith and Governor Walker, was a Mason and Shrin er, a musician and composer. Survived by widow and three children in Ohio and Massachusetts. funeral held Tuesday at his residence.
