Ed Clark was arrested in Logan on a pettit larceny charge brought by Fd. Shafer. While boarding with Shafer, Clark took a money bank from Shafer’s little daughter, worth about seven dollars. He confessed and showed where he tossed the gate after breaking it open. His brother later paid Shafer and covered all costs to secure his release.
