W H Haskins of Columbus president of the Ohio association was chosen as a delegate to the International Mining Congress to be held at Brussels Belgium next May during the United Mine Workers of America session on Saturday afternoon.

Gallipolis Ohio January 24 Several outbuildings on Rio Grande college campus were destroyed last night by dynamite. The blast shook a two mile radius and shattered windows in two main buildings. Fuses were found scattered and bloodhounds were used to trace the criminals but failed. The college recently received large donations. No motive is known. Mr B D Clement of Columbus superintendent for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co was in Logan Tuesday delivering policies and examining interests of the company.
