Nash to Solons Seeks Action On Municipal Code Reforms

Columbus, Aug. 25. Governor Nash sent a message to the Ohio legislature urging rapid action on the Roger bill limiting the supreme court’s jurisdiction and on a municipal code drafted under his supervision. He argues extra session focus on these two measures to restore municipal government and address state court decisions restricting local authority. He urges revision of user statutes and long-range reform to align governing power with constitutional principles.
