The Weekly Crop Bulletin notes unusually cold temperatures from 15 to 20 degrees across counties south of Franklin with warmer spells later in the week. Snow fell on the 5th and 6th, frosts persisted, and cold damage affected wheat, clover, fruit trees, and general vegetation though higher, well-drained fields fared better.
