Cunningham is manager of the Council City and Solomon River railroad and brought about twenty workers who have started on the road preparing for summer business.
Berger and Sullivan completed the shaft on the Oakdale claim and began drifting northward. They are within a few feet of their upper workings and plan to start stoping and hoisting within a week, while managing a large water inflow with continuous pumping.
