Heart Sunday collected totals of 257.54 in Fairmount 2602.83 in Price Hill and 1823.03 in Delhi Township for the Heart Fund with volunteers boosting community support.
Six nonpublic schools in Oak Hills District will share 222 750 in state funds under House Bill 531 for the 1969 70 year, with about 189 338 50 designated for teachers salaries. Mack Christian School is not applying for aid. The program aims to supplement lay teachers salaries up to 3000 per year, keeping total pay within public school scales.
Project Support begins on Monday and ends with a Tuesday drawing on March 24. Prizes total 750 dollars with 500 for first place, 200 for second, and 50 for both third and fourth. Proceeds fund 60 care packages for Elder grads in Vietnam hospitals, orphanages, and aid efforts. The plaque honoring killed Elder graduates hangs at the main entrance.
At Western Hills High School the woodshop, led by Vic Gausman, uses Formica lumber scraps donated by Glenway Manufacturing Co to fabricate arm-rests for chairs. Students mass produce replacements, aiming to repair all 5,000 chairs, delivering significant repair-cost savings.

NAVY ENSIGN Robert G DiMuzio son of Mr and Mrs William V DiMuzio at 5073 Foley Rd graduated from Officer R1.
