Bowen Announces For Senate Dist 9

State Rep. William F Bowen a Democrat announced at a Monday press conference his candidacy for the Ninth Senate District of the Ohio General Assembly. Tax Rates Rise in Delhi Two and Fall in Green

The new Delhi Township tax rate is $36.38 per $1,000 for Oak Hills and $39.46 for Cincinnati School District. Green Township in News territory sees $33.42, while Cincinnati residents face a total rate of $48.62 per $1,000. Oak Hills levy fell to 4.8 mills, Cincinnati 5.2 mills passed. County levy down 30 cents to $6.79.

Rural Zoning Commission Schedules Two Delhi Hearings

The Hamilton County Rural Zoning Commission will hold two hearings in Delhi Township Hall next week. On Monday Jan 5 Hilltop Rental seeks rezoning 3.9 acres near Pedretti and Mayhew from D residential to DD planned multifamily with up to 72 units. On Wednesday Jan 7 owners including Kramer and Hofer families seek to rezone 10.9 acres near Delhi Pike and Glen Oak Dr from single family to retail business. no future use given.

Green Delhi Rezoning Requests Denied by Rural Zoning

The County Rural Zoning Commission rejected two rezoning requests in Green and Delhi Townships. D B A Development Corp sought to rezone 18 acres west of Race Rd and north of I 74 from A residence to A 2 residence to allow higher density single family homes. Christopher Homes Inc sought to rezone five acres on Delhi Pike west of Roebling Rd from residence to planned retail business to expand Knights of Columbus clubhouse. The Planning Commission proposed new 0 1A zone for two locations and 17 sites were deemed desirable for change.

Hearing Set On Revision Of Community Unit Plan

A public hearing is scheduled for 1 30 p m January 15 before the Hamilton County Rural Zoning Commission in Room 224 Court House to discuss a revision of the Community Unit Plan for Kremer Construction Co in Delhi Township. The plan shifts 2000 square feet of commercial space to apartments or townhouses the rest. The revision has been approved by the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission and can be viewed at Roots 222 Court House. Candidate Gilbert Faigle and others may attend to protest the partial change.
