New Vienna 1948 Graduates Earn Diplomas In Commencement
Mary Lou Berwanger led the class with a 97 percent average and a Wilmington College scholarship. Richard Carey was second with 94.8 percent, June Pence third at 91 percent. Over 500 attended as Dr. Floyd Faust urged self discipline and character training. The class donated about 80 to fund a trophy case, with music by the high school orchestra.
