New Haven Heat Supply Quits Service for Winter
The New Haven Heat Supply Company will not provide steam for heating this coming winter as its plant is worn out after twenty five years. The business, tied to the estate of the late Frederick A. Carleton and managed by his son, Frederick A. Carleton, will be discontinued and perhaps repurposed by the Illuminating Company. The company avoided disturbances by delaying notice until wear avoided patron inconvenience.
